 The right X11 server to to work on SnowLeopard is MacPorts' --- get rid of
 all others from everywhere, and install xorg-server or xorg-server-devel
 -- both are great, but I use xorg-server-devel as -- why not?

 Ionic -- I find mpv (and MPlayer) work just fine with the X11 backend.
 Everyone will be happy enough. It's certainly good enough for my needs.

 I hacked mpv to run on 10.4 PPC but that's a bit too hacky for me to post
 up, I think. I'll stick it in my TigerPorts repo maybe. Anyways MPlayer
 works super good there. -- K
