 I only installed the command line tools without installing the full Xcode.

 I do have the necessary tools:

 {{{
 $ xcode-select --install
 xcode-select: error: command line tools are already installed, use
 "Software Update" to install updates

 }}}

 But macports is printing two warnings when using port install:
 {{{
 Warning: xcodebuild exists but failed to execute
 Warning: Xcode does not appear to be installed; most ports will likely
 fail to build.
 }}}
