 I just spent an hour trying to use port inkscape into Mojave.

 This gave me a black drawing screen with 100% cpu time.

 Turns out, this has been a verified issue
 (https://trac.macports.org/ticket/57925) for more than 3 weeks.  The ports
 mechanism should warn the user if there are known issues before proceeding
 (maybe even listing the known ticket).

 This would greatly improve the user experience of ports.
