 That did the trick. I installed gegl and now I can install Opencv
 +python37. However, I still cannot install opencv +contrib +python37. Do
 you happen to know if there is an issue installing opencv with its
 contributed library? If you do not, then I will open a new ticket.

 Can you run port reclaim and tell it not to uninstall certain inactive
 ports that I want to keep?
