 `net-snmp` has since been [https://github.com/macports/macports-
 ports/commit/fdb772248a5b9965fa6866903e52f28184064dd8 updated by the
 maintainer to 5.7.3] and then [https://github.com/macports/macports-
 ports/commit/6bbe68661127cb26fd7801b64b69391da988cda4 to 5.8]. Is this
 ticket still relevant?
