 OK. In my fixup to mpv, I disabled most of the old patchfiles. One of them
 needs to be put back, to build mpv with the older gcc-4.2. I'll replace
 that and it should fix the build for you now.

 We might come across another patch or two we still need to reinstate as
 people explore the variants, so I've left the patchfiles in place in the
 files dir for now.
