 Well the other ports are broken too if they're only doing it at destroot
 time. Please file tickets against them. :)

 Since it only need to be done once per machine, doing it in post-install
 is also OK (in addition to pre-destroot). Doing it at activation time also
 works but that potentially means the code runs more often than it needs
 to.
