 I cannot reproduce this issue. I'm inclined to think this issue has been
 fixed long ago, as there have since been many improvements made in Tk for
 Aqua, or even in Tkinter. Should this be closed?

 Note that the current maintainer for `py27-tkinter` is jmroot.
