 Maintainer for `py35-tkinter` is currently jmroot.

 With the current `tk` port, I would think this issue is normally caused by
 having the default `tk +x11` variant installed, rather than `tk +quartz`.
 Not sure if that was the case 4 years ago though. Can this ticket be
 closed?
