 What I notice is that the log says:

 /opt/local/lib/libpoppler-glib.8.dylib is a file provided by the poppler
 port -- presumably, provided by whatever old version of poppler you
 currently have installed.

 You can work around the problem by (forcibly) deactivating the currently
 installed version of poppler before trying to build the new one.
