 I'm not entirely sure of the best way to go about this. Python 3.8 is
 currently available as python38-devel (alpha 2) but the Python 3.8 beta
 was recently released with an open call for testing.

 I can probably update the portfile for this but I'm not sure whether the
 port should be renamed and drop the "devel" suffix.
