 Sorry this issue was not address sooner.\\
 Somehow, it was not assigned to me, and it fell off of my radar.

 However, I believe the issue has already been fixed.\\
 There is an [https://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?44029 upstream report] that
 seems to be on point.\\
 It has been [http://hg.savannah.gnu.org/hgweb/octave/rev/e75a0fe1eee2
 fixed upstream], and the fix seems to have made it into one of the
 releases.

 I will close this ticket for now.\\
 If I am wrong, please feel free to reopen.
