 FWIW, I just tried reproducing this on my OSX10.11 VM, and was not able
 to. In the end I suspect the reason is I have Xcode 7 installed, whereas
 the OP here is using Xcode 8 on OSX10.11. I think its that specific
 combination of versions that causes the problem.
