New description:

 Main window for some GTK2 +quartz apps is black. See the screenshots for
 Inkscape and Dia. Black screen sometimes starts flickering with no reason
 or when window is resized.

 Originally these apps were installed as +x11 variants, I reinstalled all
 deps in the +quartz variant and then installed these apps in the +quartz
 variant. Did I miss something?

 There is a similar issue with KDE: #58027. Rendering mode setting resolves
 it. I wonder if there is a similar setting for GTK.

 macOS 10.14.4

 On macOS 10.13 all was ok. It appeared only after I migrated ports to
 10.14
