New description:

 The maintainer is still active on MacPorts, but I think these ports have
 become neglected. The following tickets are open for them: #26635, #26637,
 #26916, #31312, #55370. Some of these were issues which have since been
 fixed upstream, but the ports were never updated.

 One member, after unsuccessfully attempting to update them, has suggested
 the possibility of deleting these: ticket:31312#comment:4

 I think at a minimum it may be desirable to discontinue `yap-devel` in
 favor of having only one port to maintain.

 Paulo, are you still interested in maintaining these ports?
