 Well, some things do seem obvious (more or less ;), but not all of them.

 I am confident enough to avoid erasing something outside of
 {{{/opt/local/var/macports/build}}}, but it is not obvious to me whether
 there is something in that directory that I may not want to erase, or what
 consequences (if any) erasure of those things would have.

 Perhaps I should do {{{sudo port clean --all}}} before going into that
 directory and doing surgery there?
