 I think we'd have bootstrap loop.

 We can't get to llvm-5.0 without clang/llvm-3.4, and we can't get to
 clang/llvm-3.4 without cctools being upgraded.

 I am thinking the best idea would be to allow mp-clang as assembler if
 llvm >= 5.0, and use the system clang only if xcode >= 7.3.1.

 I'm hoping to come up with an easy tweak to the current cctools Portfile
 that would enable that idea...
