 Hello, I'm the nip2 author.

 goffice08 is the last version of goffice that works with gtk2, so to move
 off it, we'd need to move nip2 to gtk3. This is a lot of work.

 I've git a nip2 branch with a gtk3 interface, but it's still not done.
 Perhaps in another few years.
