 It was getting the library path from `LIBRARY_PATH`. (Only very old
 versions of clang don't support that.) As for the rest of our LDFLAGS, it
 wasn't using them, so it wasn't built with headerpad_max_install_names and
 it wasn't built for the right architectures. With your change, now it
 should be.
