 The MacPorts version of Boost is [https://github.com/macports/macports-
 ports/blob/master/devel/boost/Portfile 1.71.0], which seems to be
 incompatible with mapnik.\\
 There is already an [https://github.com/mapnik/mapnik/issues/4041 upstream
 bug report].\\
 There is also a more recent
 [https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=237016 FreeBSD bug
 report].

 A couple of other ports (e.g. [https://github.com/macports/macports-
 ports/blob/master/databases/percona/Portfile percona] and
 [https://github.com/macports/macports-
 ports/blob/master/databases/mysql8/Portfile mysql8]) in similar positions
 download their own versions of Boost.\\
 However, mapnik requires the Boost libraries (not just the headers).
