#59263: Cannot install packages on Catalina

 I installed Macports on a fresh install of Catalina.
 Upon using the command:
 sudo port install <package>
 I get the following error

 sudo: port: command not found.

 Is there something I’m missing?

 I used the very same routine I used on all my Macports installs .
