 Just tried and failed to build gcc8 on macOS Catalina. When first trying
 to install gcc8, I ran into an issue with libunwind-headers, so I followed
 some advice here [https://trac.macports.org/ticket/57198] and
 uninstalled.the component via


 {{{
 sudo port uninstall libunwind-headers
 }}}

 Then the installation proceeded beyond the first failure, but did not
 complete. Log is attached
