 Ever since upgrading to OpenSSL 1.1.1d (to the best of my knowledge), PHP
 7.3 is crashing anytime an openssl_*function is called.

 I've been searching endlessly for a solution for the past 2 days,
 including uninstalling and reinstalling everything (full PHP libs,
 MongoDB, OpenSSL). But as soon as OpenSSL is activated again and a call is
 made to encrypt or decrypt data, the process dies.

 Any other reports? What else can I provide to narrow down the possible
 cause?
