 Trying to install libedit gives me

 Error: Failed to patch libedit: command execution failed
 }}}

 Looking at the log file, I first found that the doc/Makefile.in patch was
 the culpit.  Seems the patch was already applied in the dowloaded version

 Removed that from the Portfile, but then it turned out many of the other
 patches couldn’t be applied either.

 Pretty bad, since Python depends on libedit, and everything, it seems,
 depends on Python.
