 Also recommend upgrading outdated ports using

 sudo port upgrade outdated and not rdependentof:ghostscript and not
 ghostscript
 }}}
 for the time being.

 I second the suggestion of downgrading GS to 9.26 in the repositories
 until this is issue is resolved.
