 We have noticed that `clang-7.0` doesn't seem happy to build with
 `clang-8.0`, probably due to the every-increasing pickiness of newer
 compilers.

 If you try to build `clang-7.0` with something a bit older, like
 `clang-5.0`, you should have no troubles. If that works, please report
 back success
