 @michaelld would it be possible to modify the Portfile so that when using
 MacOS 10.11 the +clang37 variant is automatically selected?

 This would fix the installation on MacOS 10.11.

 Ideally, one should also rebuild, on the 10.11 buildbots, all the ports
 depending (directly or indirectly) on numpy on MacOS 10.11 that were
 updated in the meanwhile. Indeed, all the binaries for 10.11 are now
 missing. See e.g.:
