 Two problems:
  1. Needs to be updated to be compatible with openssl 1.1 (or depend on
 openssl10 instead)
  2. The configure script has the usual bug of checking for INTLTOOL_PERL
 and XML::Parser, which needs to be removed via autoreconf (or manually
 patching it out if preferable).
