 Chris,

 i'll push my python38 fixes for 10.4 and 10.5 tomorrow -- I would have
 done it already but I got bikeshedded to death and got frustrated.

 You do know about my LeopardPords repo where I have ling ago fixed this
 and a hundred more Leopard issues, I hope.
