Comment (by kencu):

 In the case of {{{graphene}}}, it built, but because it doesn't find
 {{{pkg-config}}} it doesn't add the needed {{{gobject-2.0}}} references,
 and later builds that use {{{graphene}}} fail for that reason:

 Run-time dependency gobject-2.0 found: NO (tried pkgconfig, framework and
 cmake)
