 I have opened a [https://github.com/macports/macports-ports/pull/8185 PR]
 to address this. Several similar patches were dropped from related ports
 during a recent update ([bf5c734e02/macports-ports]), so it looks like
 `patchfiles-append` in this one port unintentionally didn't get removed.
