 also pls note the libarchive tests are now fully enabled, and also fixed
 to run on Tiger.

 Upstream has patched their source for libarchive to have a fallback
 implementation of strnlen so our patch won't be needed with the next
 update to libarchive.

 However, the error in legacysupport that causes this (as manifest by
 libarchive) persists at present and will need sorting out.
