So, a slightly older Xcode than you. I have Xquartz installed. Xquartz
says it's up-to-date at version 2.7.11.
Did you figure out from the logs what precisely failed? The only visible
errors I found were these. The configure script is such a tangled mess
that I don't know if that's normal or not.
