 The Singular math app can be installed using brew or fink, both of which
 of course can interfere with MacPorts. And the Mac binary available at
 https://www.singular.uni-kl.de/index.php/singular-download/install-
 os-x.html always seems to lag behind the actual current version.

 Hence this request for a MacPorts port of Singular.
