 eventually leads to a kernel crash, sometimes it reboots, sometimes all
 network related syscalls hang.

 i dont know macos that much, happy to provide any kernel logs if someone
 can point me at how (dmesg shows nothing)

 maybe important for reproduction:

 - macbook air (M1, 2020)
 - ports on arm64
 - running littlesnitch, the only network related thing i can think of
