 I myself certainly do not have the time to officially take over the
 maintainership of this port. I am not a macOS developer. Professionally, I
 am rooted in the UNIX/Linux server realm. Close enough, but still not the
 same. However, if someone could point me to another port where such a
 binary-only install gets done already, I might be able to adapt it,
 without first having to wade through MacPorts' port building
 documentation, and contribute it once.
