Comment (by jmroot):

 `depends_lib path:lib/libjpeg.dylib:libjpeg-turbo` would be the right way.
 This would allow switching between libjpeg-turbo and mozjpeg. The jpeg
 port is not binary compatible with these, and should be changed such that
 it doesn't install the same files as them (different prefix for most files
 and maybe a libjpeg.9.dylib link in ${prefix}/lib).
