 Hello,
 searching for "octave" at "https://ports.macports.org/", I don't get what
 I am looking for.

 The result with name "octave-devel" which description is "obsolete port,
 replaced by octave" has a link to his own page where there are another
 link to "octave".

 I think it is necessary to improve that search.
