 Seeing the same behaviour here, running a Laravel app. Disabling the
 OpenSSL module gave me an exception when it tried using `openssl_*`
 functions, but otherwise it just crashed Apache with the bus error
 messages noted above. A test page with just a call to `php_info()` worked
 fine.

 I rebuilt the php73 port from source with no effect.

 Rebuilding the php73-openssl port from source resolved the issue for me.
