 actually he's doing x86_64, but if it's ever fixed, might as well do both.

 The (tricky) issue is with, I believe, the exact ASM-sufixed names we're
 using in our realpath wrap (and the other wrap) for our on-the-fly
 replacement functions.

 they are not matching up for 64bit. But we must not break 32bit when
 fixing it!
