 Yes I think this problem arose when json-c was
 [changeset:12f1ce4a81f73537995867a641920c72257a1d57/macports-ports updated
 from 0.13-20171207 to 0.14-20200419] because
 [https://github.com/json-c/json-c/commit/0992aac61f8b087efd7094e9ac2b84fa9c040fcd
 json-c removed the defines on 20171223].
