 Well, I'm not able to reproduce your issues (OS X 10.9.5, Qt 5.9.8). Maybe
 because I decided to try the git HEAD first - there have been 10 commits
 since 2.9 was released some of which seem useful enough to include anyway.

 I'm attaching my Portfile and the patches that are different/new (I
 haven't bothered removing any fuzz). Note the
 `-DCMAKE_BUILD_WITH_INSTALL_RPATH=ON` option; this is probably relevant on
 Linux only, but who knows.
 Also note the `export KDE_SESSION_VERSION=5` in the wrapper script; this
 should have no effect with a stock Qt build.
