 Sorry, I can't.  /opt/local is occupied by something else, I don't want to
 mix MacPorts with them.

 I configured MacPorts with

 {{{
 ./configure --prefix=/Users/Nasy/.macports/ --enable-readline
 }}}

 Hope this is not a problem caused by changing the prefix.
