 Checkstyle continues to publish new upstream releases rather frequently;
 latest is 8.30 (2020-02-29).

 Port currently fails to build with Java 8: #51731 . Port also has fallback
 dependency on `kaffe` that should be removed in favor of using the Java
 portgroup.

 Is this port worth keeping and updating, or should it be removed? (I
 personally do not need this port.)
