New description:

 Port is currently at version 2.0b4, as when submitted in 2007. Upstream
 project is still active; latest release is 2.0b6 (released 2016), although
 project recommends installing from development branch pending an upcoming
 release.

 If this port is to be kept, its fallback dependency on deprecated port
 `kaffe` should be replaced with using the Java portgroup (#60206).

 (I personally do not need this port. I had proposed deleting it:
 https://github.com/macports/macports-ports/pull/5140, but there is
 disagreement over deleting ports still maintained upstream.)
