Comment:

 Supersedes #55305. In the future please search for and use existing
 tickets that cover your request.

 Thanks for the updated Portfile. I'll handle it this time, but in the
 future please attach a unified diff of your changes rather than an entire
 new Portfile; it makes it easier to see what you've changed. Even better
 would be to open a pull request.

 I noted in #55305 that the new version might have higher minimum OS
 version requirements. If so, I'll want to make the Portfile stick with an
 older version of the software on older OS versions so that they're not
 left out.
