 I just encountered the same error, building on macOS 10.13.6 High Sierra
 with MacPorts 2.6.2.

 My log file has the same crucial line, "ignoring file
 /opt/local/lib/libbrotlidec.dylib, file was built for x86_64 which is not
 the architecture being linked (i386)".
