 would you have 5 minutes to do a quick install to another macports prefix
 on your machine and just see if this happens on a stock, unmodified
 macports on your machine? legacy-support has no deps, so there would be
 nothing else to install to test it, other than the bare-bones macports.

 I just can't reproduce it, and I suspect that somehow, it must have
 something to do with some mod you might have made --
 what/where/when/how/why I don't know.
