 the problem with {{{normalize_triplet.py}}} is that it does not yet expect
 GCC10. This issue and the download problems seem to have been fixed in
 version 1.4.2. So the port should be update to the latest version - I
 tried but there are now other build issues and I haven't figured those
 out.
