 Updating osxfuse is complicated by the fact that it is no longer open-
 source.

 There are many open tickets about osxfuse which updating the port would
 probably help.

 Because the port has no maintainer, someone would have to volunteer to do
 the work to update the port.

 This is not a straightforward port to update.
